That's right. Kris Curran and the elusive Seasmoke. This month we go inside the Seasmoke cellar and take a look at some of the equipment used by Kris to produce these most sought after wines. What is a peristaltic pump, and how Kris has used state of the art technology to keep a database of her flavour profiles for every barrel. The tagstream technology helps Kris to decide what goes into Southing, Botella and Ten. Stay tuned there will be more of this interview in the coming months.


The real treat is that now we have included the Windows Media Video version as well as Quicktime. For future reference all videos will be available in both formats.

May 23
It has been a very busy month but I have finally gotten the videos for Hospice du Rhone online and written about the event. Still pending is the Santa Barbara Vintner's Festival, and the Futures tastings at the Wine Cask and Brander not to mention a really cool event with the International Wine and Food Society.
All I will say is that the white wine to look for this summer is the 2006 sauvignon blanc under the Dora label by Gary Burke using fruit from the Faith Vineyard. Get it soon before it goes.
